Kristal Buckley, General Manager
Kristal was born and raised in Western New York State. After graduating High School, she lived in several different states while figuring out what career path she wanted to take. While ending up in North Dakota, she decided to put her many years of experience in the restaurant industry to use, landing her a job as a server at Players Sports Bar & Grill in late 2017. She was quickly promoted to supervisor, followed by bar manager, and finally offered the Assistant Manager position in August 2020. In her free time Kristal enjoys traveling to visit her family and friends, reading, working out, and cooking.
Rob Eilts, Event Coordinator
If you have lived in the Dickinson area for the past 10 years you may know our Event Coordinator from one of the many volunteer, kids sporting events, or community events. Rob has been married to Jennifer for 25 years and in that time they have raised five children in the area. He is involved in many community clubs and events such as: Rotary International, Best Friends Mentoring, Relay for Life, Trinity Athletic Boosters, Dickinson Hockey Club, and Chamber Ambassadors. Having five kids involved in many activities in the area you will often see Rob in the bleachers cheering on one of his kids in Mustang Baseball, Dickinson Outlaw Hockey, or Trinity Sports. If you are looking to have a group gathering, fundraiser, wedding, or social event call Rob and his years of event planning will be utilized to offer you the best experience possible.
Sam Goik, Bar Manager
Samantha started working at Players two years ago when she first moved to North Dakota from Southern California. She previously attended college at California Baptist University to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Science for Nursing but life had other plans for her. She ended up going back to her first love, the service industry, when she moved to Washington State and became pregnant with her daughter. Each restaurant she has worked in, she has gained new skill sets and knowledge she has carried with her everywhere. She fell in love with the bar atmosphere when she began tending bar at Players. Sam loves engaging in conversation with guests and catering to them and leaving a lasting impression. Her favorite part of the job is experimenting and creating new drinks every week for guests to enjoy. Her favorite football team is the Green Bay Packers and in her down time she enjoys spending time with friends and family, being outdoors, singing and dancing.
Melissa Mouritsen, Front of House Manager
Melissa grew up in Florida. She has worked in the service industry for over 25 years. She had her first son at a young age. This pushed her to work hard and graduate high school early. Then, she went to college and got her associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies. After doing a voluntary internship in her uncle’s law firm, she chose to go back and pursue her passion for serving others. The fast-paced environment only a restaurant could offer called to her more than Law. She began working at Outback Steakhouse in 2002 and only left because she moved to North Dakota 2 years ago. She became a member of our team here at Players in April 2018. She started as a host and worked her way through all the front of house positions. She excelled in all she did, which lead to her being offered the Front of House Manager position. She takes great pride in her position as Manager and loves everyone who works for Players. She is always here for her employees with a listening ear and advice when needed. She also tries to get to know as many regulars as possible, to make them all feel special when they come in!
